Job Description:
As a Proofreader, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of all content published on NewsFlash. You’ll be responsible for reviewing articles for grammatical errors, consistency, and adherence to style guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Proofread and edit content for grammatical errors, spelling, and punctuation

• Ensure adherence to AP style and internal editorial guidelines

• Collaborate with writers and editors to improve article clarity and coherence

• Fact-check details in articles to ensure accuracy

• Maintain a fast turnaround time without sacrificing quality

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, or related field

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work quickly

• Experience with AP style and proofreading software

• Excellent communication skills

• Minimum of 1 year of professional proofreading experience
